| Mose and Walmsley were magnificent. Yet again we dig deep and show the character to win.

| Child was good tonight !!!!! He was a feckin joke and completely hashed the first half......
Saints probably just edged enough to justify the win.....quite a well balanced game
Masoe will be a big loss for you next season.....he's an animal !!!!

He really didn't. Watching it on TV, every one of the penalties was right, for once. Warrington's discipline was awful. They clearly had instructions for a Wigan-esque gameplan. Offside, hold down, hands in at the play the ball, kneeing as it's played, over physical style. Childs did so, so well to stand up to that nonsense and penalise them for it. How a Warrington player didn't spend time in the bin though was perhaps his only error. Hill's 'captaincy' was a complete joke. He blew up like a baby every time a penalty went against Warrington.

Thought we missed Wilkin again but Mose was top.
And Robes......still the best in SL !!
On the dire forum they are moaning about their luck and refereeing decisions - Robes try and Philbin non try etc ad nauseam.'"
So you think Robys try was legitimate? And we aren't moaning about the Philbin no try at all, Turner had every right to punch it out.

Maybe not but it's a good job he got his head out of the way of Harrison's kneedrop that tried to stop him scoring though eh!

If Roby wants to put his head that close to the ground then he's going to connect with a leg at the very least, not unsympathetic to what happened there, both were just doing what they could to score and likewise prevent the try. Do think that Roby lost it onto Harrisons leg though. Just as I think Atkins was being a crafty beggar by letting go of the ball Burns was cradling to death lol.

| Both of russells step outs should have been drop outs. Was I the only one that notice he messed both up?

First one he touched before his foot planted the other side of the line so agree there, not sure on the second one.

Agreed. It's the stupidest rule ever anyway. What exactly is it intended to do? It rewards negative play as they said on Sky. Really can't see any benefit from it.

I managed to freeze the screen, his foot was only slighty up but it was still up. I don't like rules that can't be enforced without video. It makes the game more complex than it needs to be.

| Fair play Saints, a good close game. On another day Dwyer would have passed a tad backwards for England's no try, Philbin would have scored if it wasn't for Turner's excellent defence and Atkins could have done a better job with that 1 arm pass for the Ormsby overlap in the first half.
Credit though where credits due. Thought Walmsley and Masoe were excellent- imagine if they where both on the field at the same time! And massive respect to Roby- amazing player.

| Excellent performance by both sides. If anything Wire played better than against Wigan. That was a good game, but Warrington's pack faced a significantly more challenging task this week. Big confidence booster for Saints going into the playoffs.
That's why this pack is a bit special. Against any other side the likes of Sims, Hill, Westood & Currie dominate that game. And yet Walmsley, Masoe & Roby were colossal.
It's such a shame this season has been blighted by cruel luck with injuries. It's amazing to think what we'd be like with a fit Lomax, Walsh, Vea, Tommy etc. etc.

Yes I do, Harrison went in with the knees and dislodged the ball, play on and Roby scores. I think that should be looked at again because it's dangerous going in with the knees.

| I don't think Harrison was trying anything malicious, you saw him plant his foot first to try and block the path.
I don't think I would have given that try, but I can see why they did. Whilst it looked like Roby had temporally lost control, I don't think there was ever actual daylight between him and the ball so, perhaps it could be construed that it was impossible for a knock on to have taken place.
What a player though! What a player.
