| Quote: Tony Stark "I've been to a few of Ade's testimonials this year and in them all the lads asked have said the spirit in the camp has still been good despite the losses, as did Louie when interviewed on Sky post-match.
As I said earlier, winning, and playing well doing so, will always make things better mentally and physically in terms of how the lads play and hold themselves. It's easy to suggest that the change in fortune and performance is down to Royce leaving and Rush & KC taking over but I can guarantee you it is down to more than the change in management.'"
A change in tactics has no doubt helped too, playing with more freedom for starters. Winning is good, winning well is brilliant

| Quote: No1 Saint "Honestly you need to get a grip , did you even watch us against Bradford? It was one of the worst performances Ive seen a Saints team put out in a long long time. The performance against Hull was abysmal too. We look like a new team and it's not all down to Roby (despite you and and Sky morons thinking so)'"
Fans have such short memories.
Remember against Hull in the fog during Potter's time here?
Remember the Grand Final 2007 under Anderson when we were worse than crap?
Teams sometimes play badly. It's not always the coach you know. Sometimes it can - dare I suggest it - actually be the players!

| I mentioned to a saints fan who posted on the bulls forum that saints would win at least 2 of their next 3 games and i was proved right lucky i put an accumulator on it haha.
Think the players didnt want to play for simmons anymore and put in poor performances so he was sacked and now they are playing brilliantly, similar to chelsea did with AVB

| Quote: SaintsFan "Likewise against Bradford, for instance, when we were down to 12 men. We didn't concede. Our defence has been improving for a few weeks. We did, however, let in a try on the death (again) and Warrington did rather like messing up their attacking plays near our line, which helped us it has to be said. We were let off quite a few times by their unforced errors.
I made all manner of excuses for us last season because we were a team under pressure of injures with a lot of young players coping under adversity. Now that we have what the Sky guys labelled 'the old guard' back again, there are no excuses.'"
You say they were unforced errors, how do you know they weren't from our sustained defensive pressure which caused them to panic.

You could say that about our errors in the games we lost too.
However, many of Warrington's errors tonight were definitely unforced. Some of them were just down to offloads at dumb times. Leeds were doing the same kind of thing this time last year.

I remember them all yes. Your point? Potter and Simmons have been poor appointments.

Yep, we had the odd blip under Anderson , sadly they were in GF's. At least they were against quality opposition, nothing like that shambles in Bradford

How do you think we feel? Everytime a saints player looks at Joel Monaghan they think of him getting a BJ off a dog.
Now that's off putting

You can call wello, Gardner or any saints player but leave sia alone, he's my bro.

| The things I have seen so far under Mike and Kieron that have not been there previously have been passion, aggression and determination.
I don't think we should have any doubts about Good Friday because over the past two games Saints have;
1. Outplayed the superleague and world club champions.
2. Beaten the in form team that came from behind to beat Wigan last week.
If Saints can produce the same explosive start by the forwards on Good Friday and back it up with some expansive flair in the backs coupled with some pure grit in defence I can't see any reason as to why it won't be six points from three games and a great end to what was a poor thread of six.

We're not, honestly we are just not, we're the luckiest team of the last few weeks but in form, we are certainly not.

I would agree with you there. You are not the same team as you were last year, but Leeds were pants for most of last season and managed to win the GF. So there is plenty of time for Wire to get their collective heads on right and start to fire up again.
