Google maps is utter tosh. I've left Leeds at 6pm rush hour and managed to get to Saints for 7:15pm and I don't have a players parking space.

I'm sure he will be in the same mold as every other good sportsman and have his foot to the floor all the way to Saints.

Hopefully if we have signed him that will give us 5 good props a super hooker, an awesome backrow and some talent on the bench too.

Why dual reg him? Is there a reason for that? Is he not up to Super League yet? He'll be 22 by the start of the season I think, which seems fine to bring him in, he doesn't need to play every week or against the big boys. What good does keeping him semi pro at Batley do?

I would have thought he'll do a lot of his training with us whilst on dual reg, and we'd also be able to pick him to play for us whenever we saw fit. Presumably it will have been a way of sweetening the deal and getting a discount, if a fee is involved.

Either way, 22 is young for a prop, particularly for a lad who hasn't yet been a full timer, so there's no need to rush him in.

If he's under contract then maybe they agreed to release him to us on the basis we loan him back to them for a year.

Can confirm he's signed. It's a four year deal but he is still under contract at Batley and will be loaned/DR back there next season, he will still spend a lot of time training with us though. Grea signing in my book and has potential to be a real good impact prop if he develops well.
