Walmsley having scan today

Whilst his utility value came in handy last night with him moving to second pivot, Brown resolve to continue to pick Wello is a serious issue now.

Who ever is playing in the halves will need the best platform possible and carrying an ineffective bench player is not an option.

I would imagine next week will be Wello and Wilkin in the halves as it was for the second 40 yesterday and Hohaia to the centres since we have no back up centres. Unless we have a surprise debut from an under 19s player.

If Percival is fit then he can partner Jones and there's Wheeler too who can play centre with Wilkin and Hohaia at 6 and 7. Wellens should be nowhere near those positions.

I reckon they'll get either wheeler or Percy fit to cover centre with Jones and shift Lance back to 6, but Wellens at 6 would at least let us ramp up the pack as best we can.

We have options in the centre.

We have wheeler, Percy, Dawson, jones.

We can't let wello near the halves. He's absolutely awful there. Back to the bench for me.

Jones was poor last night. Aren't Percival and Wheeler both injured at present? No idea about Dawson. I thought he was a winger?

Wheeler isn't injured, he is fit and available for Wakefield. Percival has been injured but hopefully back for Leeds and Dawson said in pre-season that Brown sees him as a centre as much as he does a winger.

If Percy is fit, then he'll replace Turner.
Flanno will replace Sia on the bench.
Wilkin to #6, Jones to second row and Wheeler in the centres to accommodate Walsh.

Not ideal, but not the end of the world.

Lets stop this talk of Wello at half back. It depresses me. I'd rather have Wello at full back and Lomax to #7.

Percy might be fit for Wakefield.
