As Potter said when he was asked to work for nothing: "I'm sure he's not working for nothing as an administrator."
I work in the finance "industry" (  ) and there is something fishy going on here. The previous directors said they were almost halfway to the target to see the season out, but then get binned by the majority shareholders who then put in this guy who says he has found a new black hole and the club cannot continue. Even if this is true, why have they shot themselves in the foot as their investment was effectively worthless anyway?  |

Well, they are on a signing frenzy at the moment so they don't look like a club about to collapse. However, on reflection, signings are probably not concrete evidence of where a club is financially. After all, Saints have just recorded a £2.4 million loss for 2011 and we signed for this season. |

I can't think how they ever thought it would work; so far from their already small fanbase, no public transport and no willows club to subsidise them.
Feel really sorry for Wilinson; he seems a really nice genuine guy. It must break his heart seeing the half brand new empty stadium.
Hopefully Sale moving there will help finances. |
