I'd like to see Makinson get the ball in his hands more to see what he could do, but, assuming Lance is gettting a starting jersey, I'd take the oppotunity to get both Gaskell and Lomax in the starting line up.

It's a dilema, but a good one to have

My guess is though that this will be the one and only time a friendly will sell out in any of the stands! By this time next year Langtree Park will be familiar to fans and no doubt we will be back to the normal friendly turnout.

at KR a normal friendly turn out was 3-5 k. I think we'll be well above that for years unless we suffer a bradfordesque decline

| It will interesting to see what team Royce puts out and what team he thinks will be for starting game.
For the the first time in a while weve got competion for places in the backs, not great players mind you but competion for places is always healthy.
Fullbacks = wello, makinson, hohaia, lomax.
Wing = foster, Meli, Gardner, makinson.
Centre = Meli, shenton, wheeler.
Halfbacks = hohaia, Gaskell, lomax, wheeler.
I still feel we desperate for a out and out quality centre but wheeler could solve that problem if he stays fit.

| Just looking at seat availability and there are only 358 seats left for the Widnes match.
All terrace spaces sold out.

Does that include tickets sent to Widnes as "sold" or does that include all the tickets Widnes sent back too?
If the latter, what a marvellous effort. Getting 12k on for a friendly is immense, we'll have a full sell out for the Salford game I reckon.

| Quote: roader "Widnes have asked for more tickets and south stand section J is now selling well after being added to the Saints website.
I think the re-call alerted a few to the fact they wouldn't be able to go if didn't buy pronto (though that was made clear from the start)!

| Ok so the ends are also on sale on the site too, so maybe more than 10k.
I count 101 tickets left, so pretty much a sell out by any standard, with 3 days left to go. Unless you are going on your own there is only the one seated area where you can get more than one seat together.
