Walmsley and Scott Taylor to Leeds I hear. Where do you get the link to Saints from?

I do yes. With full time coaching he could be a devastating impact prop. He's about the same size as Sam Burgess, great pace for a forward and runs it in like Ade Gardner does. He has all the right raw attributes to be a potential superstar, I'd be very happy if we secured his signature.

Was on sun website other week...not heard about him to Leeds though where did you get that from?

Also, if you check on Walmsley's twitter account, some of his mates seem to think he is on his way to saints.

But at the moment it's all just a rumour. Lets wait and see until it's officially announced.

Just word of mouth, people in the office etc. But Leeds have been linked with him for a couple of years it seems from google and it was mentioned on their board in May. He's from Yorkshire and went to Leeds Carnegie University who Leeds have excellent links with, Keinhorst who played for them recently was at Uni with him as well I think. He isn't likely to sign for us if Leeds are interested is he? We'd have to either pay him well enough to buy a house here or sufficiently better than Leeds to make the 4 hours daily driving worthwhile.

Fingers crossed though eh. Hopefully the club will see the impact Hill has made and throw the kitchen sink into it.

I've just had a look at that. Interesting. One of them asks if he's the young English forward Wests Tigers have signed and another replies maybe one day after Saints. That could all be because of him being in the Sun. One of my mates was at Crewe as a youngster and linked with Middlesborough in the paper and whenever we see him he still gets asked how Middlesborough is.

Maybe someone who's less of a wimp than me can ask him?

4 hours daily drive????? Where is he driving from south of Birmingham????

Leeds to St Helens and St Helens to Leeds? According to google maps it would take 2hrs and 56 minutes to do it now. I'm guess he might have to do the first journey to arrive around 9ish? It could easily take him two hours on that leg at least.
