Leeds are willing to pay fees. Although he's declined an extension, he's still under contract.

Like with the Hill to Warrington thing, how significant a fee is that likely to be? I'm sure we could afford it for a player who looks set to be one of the best forwards in Super League and who could be at the club he moves to for 10+ years.

If we're unwilling to match the ambition of these clubs, it will end up with us behind them every year.

So it looks like Flannery, Dixon, Hale and Shenton replaced by Manu and Turner. Typical Saints in terms of numbers in and out and I think Manu will be having all of Flannery's, Hale's and Dixon's salaries and probably eating into Shenton's as well.

I'd say Laffranchi could fill Dixon's shoes if we bring in a prop (which I hope), Manu replacing Flannery and Turner replacing Shenton...but will we actually bring in a prop? Probably doubtful.

However much KR demand, he still has a couple years left on his contract. The extension they offered was an early one to try and tie him up.

In the case of Chris Hill coming under the ruling of taking a player from a club under a certain age, I think it's about 25k. Not 100% on that though.
