| Hopefully means Robes will go to 13 with Cunningham and Moore rotating at 9 next year.

got to be. I cant see a place for all 3 at hooker, unless KC has agreed to play a supporting role to the other 2.

Only problem has been the baffling tactic of MP to chuck anyone at 13. For me it is a position that Roby could be effective at because he has good rugby nous and runs harder then his build would suggest.

It could be the development of Roby from a niche player to the top class player he has the potential to be. He has a solid kicking game which is always nice (since Tommy God we've relied on Long, now we'll have Roby Moore, Arnold, Wheeler, Pryce (when he's on the field) and Wilkin).

| Roby played a lot of his academy rugby at loose forward.

| I think this is good news - we talk now of players over 30 as being ancient, but when I first began watching in the mid-eighties, people used to say that a prop doesn't come good till he's 32 ! The game has speeded up, and for an amateur, playing beyond 30 can be pretty tough on the body, but for a full time athlete, who has intensive physical preparation, then as long as he avoids injury, there's no reason why he can't carry on at a very high level for longer than your average Joe could. After all, speed was never a key component of Cunningham's game, and I'd be very surprised if he was any less powerful now than he was as a 20 year-old.
It does mean, however, that we are very likely to see Moore or Roby playing a whole new position. Personally, I think Roby hasn't got a position that isn't hooker. His whole game is based around darting from the ruck, his passing isn't good enough for halfback and I'm not aware of a kicking game from him. He's too small for the rest of the pack positions. At a push you could say centre, but that's sorted for next year with Soliola and Gidley. So I guess he stays as interchange hooker. That means if Moore is being brought back, then he's not destined for the hooking spot. You've got to be looking at scrum-half for him, and he has played there a bit before. Maybe the coaches have decided that Eastmond isn't quite ready to take on that role yet.

| Love it, after a miserable few weeks we have something to feel good about.
Cunningham is the heartbeat of our team and it's a massive boost for next season to still have him on board.
The bittersweet thing for him is that, if things go to plan, he'll miss out by a whisker on leading us out at the new stadium.

| Well done Mr C, it's not easy playing this RL game in your 30's...
Would be happy to see roby turn into a full time number 13...remember some black guy from yorkshire who played on the wing, become probably the worlds best loose forward...

That was only because Wigan had a coach (Lowe) who recognised that Hanley would be a far better 13 than a 6.
Do you think that Potter falls into this category?

| Awesome.
I just hope he's doing it for love and not the money. I hope we sign a prop to make this signing worthwhile.
