You are not being serious? I've not seen him win a collision since he crashed his car into a shopping trolly outside the DW Stadium when he turned up to sign for Wigan.

You obviously haven't seen the last few Wigan games then when he helped our backs out along with Coley, just an example of where we dominated the forwards against Cas/Wire and also Leeds. He wins the ground more than often than not, also puts in some good defence. As I've said, the only reason why Stuart gets alot of stick is because of his price tag. Then again it's like talking to a brick wall with you and your Saints blinkers on.

If he gets puts on his arris with ease as you say, why has he made more tackle busts than golden boy Graham?

Not sure really what your trying to prove with that, the point being that if Fielden was in a good team with a good pack he'd still be a good player. He's still a good player now, just can't do it all by himself like he has pretty much been having to do whilst at Wigan. Hardly rocket science.

Not really, that's why your forwards got dominated by the Huds pack in the Semi's aswell as previous finals against Leeds. Can't do it all by himself. Don't get me wrong, awesome player and would have him at Wigan within a heart beat but just can't do it by himself on the big occasions.

Make up your mind. Wigan where gonna win everthing in sight 4 weeks back. Now you're a poor team. Put it this way, your forward pack have got better go forward than ours. So your theory is rubbish.

That feilden is not as good as Cloughy, who isn't a prop, isnt an international (he should be though) and is still a "junior" player, and all this in a pack missing 2 international props to support him!

You are joking? Maybe some of our fans got giddy but I know the majority of us don't expect us to win with our pack. We're not far off though, stability is good with the backs that has pace and a good blend of old and young, but just missing a couple of aggressive props.
Back to the point though, Fielden wouldn't be a bad signing and isn't a bad player. Would still have alot to offer if he did sign for you although I can't really see it anyway.

Stuart Fielden is finished as a top level prop in all honesty. He has hollow bones these days, he DOES lose the floor on most collisions and had Wigan not paid so much for him he'd have been shipped off LAST year!
Was a great player but unfortunately for English RL he's finished.
