Its a more important fixture than the others, in terms of pressure, that's for sure. A derby win is the best single thing after silverware, really, so a win gives the fans something to smile about. Conversely, not playing well and you don't perform on Good Friday, then fan pressure ramps up considerably.

Is it a coincidence that Walsh is due back about then? Personally I wouldn't risk him, the Goons would go out of their way to injure him again, and the ape would quite happily send out one of his fools to play the Flower role again, to him, that would be a success.

Having said that although I've enjoyed some of his comments in the past they are becoming a little tedious and repetitive so maybe he should find other areas of conversation and analogies when talking to the press.

It's pretty embarrassing and this desperate attempt shows that he is under pressure. A derby defeat would be horrific for them so he's certainly targeting that game as a chance to turn their season around from the Middle 8s to the top 8.

You could say he is the true definition of a "Wigoon" where he thinks everything rugby revolves around his club in "ancient and loyal" fashion.
