Wane actually coached the u19s tho. KC not coached at all.
I love KC but I don't want him as head coach and I 100% beleive Brown will recommend KC to McManus if he gets the wests job.

I'm not saying I necessarily agree Cunningham should be our next coach, irregardless of how likely it seems he will be.
I was just saying that he has served time under 2 or 3 different coaches since he finished playing.

Wane spent a lot of time coaching the lower teams. He wasn't a club legend like Cunningham, he was just another former player who'd taken up coaching. He did plenty of time in junior roles before getting the assistant manager's job.
Cunningham's progress has been, imo, falsely accelerated. He was in a minor role (strength and conditioning?), but when Royce got sacked, the resulting clearout meant KC was sitting next to Mike Rush as assistant. A role he managed to keep. I don't personally think KC has a strong enough coaching CV to be given the Saints job.

| What's Brown got that Griffin hasn't?
From what I've heard, Griffin got fairly shafted to make room for Bennett's return. I think he's got to be the favourite.
Brown's won us the minor premiership, but a proper look into his tenure here would leave you slightly underwhelmed.

| He has coaching credentials beyond Saints.
It depends what job they are wanting the coach to do. In terms of recruitement and developing youth, Brown has a pretty decent record. The way he developed the outside backs at huddersfield could be something that makes him an attractive prospect.
In the end with any job interview, it can be horses for corses or just a random choice as in the end appointing a coach alone will not change the fortunes of a club, other clubs will also be changing coaches and players. Making it a much more complex mix that makes a winning team.

| Seeing as he did the same at Huddersfield does he really have any interest in coaching in this country?

He's been doing it for about five years, so I'd say so. You can't blame the guy for keeping an eye out for an opportunity in the NRL. It's the best league in the world and it's where he comes from - if he gets poached then good luck to him.

Agreed.
Not sure I'd like the wests job tho.

| Happy about that. I'd like him to at least see out his contract I think...

Me too. H's only got me half convinced, but I don' think we'd find a better replacement in short notice.

| I'm glad he's staying as I think he's put us back on track with some very good signings in walmsley, Walsh, Burns, Vea, Mose, Amor and Turner.
He's also made the call to play lomax at fullback which IMO was a great move and he will link up Walsh and burns very well and I'm pretty sure we will be a big threat with the ball.
With a little luck on the injuries front next year I think we will have a strong young team
