I hate Hock with a passion. But it would be an answer by McManus to my criticism over the years that he's far too conservative and isn't actually even attempting to win trophies. Signing such a reckless, maverick, who is as likely to destroy the club than help win a trophy would be a sign that things are improving.

i basically agree with this, yes he made some defensive errors, but his attacking ability over Dawson (who isnt a great defender either!) puts him well ahead in my book |
