I have just noticed who the ref is for Thursday. On the Saints site it say Matthew Thomason. - Must be a new one as I don't remember having had him before.

He's from Warrington. He's been about on the fringes for a couple of years just like George Stokes. He's had a few Warrington games this season. He did London away and the cup game on Sunday. Not bad and not whistle happy. Didn't look at the markers being square once on Sunday though. To be fair I don't think he will influence the result.

Are you absolutely sure he's injured? Squad announcement doesn't say he's unavailable. Too much vagueness about whether he is or isn't injured as with Hohia last week.

We've had him ref Wigan twice this season v Wakefield and London. I can't say I remember him so maybe he was o.k.

Doesn't matter who's in question, I'd rather see them play well than not, no matter who the opposition is. I'd like to think we all share that view.

You are a total embarrassment to the St. Helens club. You don't like any of the players especially LMS. You think you know the game better than the coaches. Are you an agent for a forward who can't make the team? No I bet a Wigan supporter really. I agree with you. We need to support the boys no matter who plays. They are all playing for St. Helens . St pete and St Simon are too busy tearing into all the players to even understand the meaning of supporting them.

He knows himself that he hasn't been playing well. May even be an article somewhere but I'm not sure.

As for hating the club, are you a complete idiot? I've loved and watched this club from the age of 6! I've missed aprox 20 games in the past 10 years. I travel home & away. I've cheered wining grand finals and cc finals and I've cried my eyes out losing cc finals and grand finals. I've been a season ticket holder as far back as I can ten ended even tho I can get into 50% of the games free. I go to numerous player events, charity events including many of steve Prescotts events.
