Aye, it was always going to be a tough game for him to make his debut in but I thought he did well - certainly looks a force going forward.

Made up for the lad, he's had a really tough time of it with illness and injuries.

He looked a handful with ball in hand - first big junior I can remember scattering a few like that on debut.

Did he get a knock ?

I think it's a bit harsh to say he was at fault. Burrow and Sinfield quickly spotted a 3 v 2 situation for Ablett to go through and Savelio was one of the 2 defenders in question.

It was a good play by Leeds we did well to keep them to 1 try all night

Keeping Leeds to one try was immense. Really impressed with Mose's progress, i was really worried that Burrow would have a field day with him, but stood up well in defence. He was blowing alot but with Amor , LMS and Walmesley not playing, he's doing far more minutes than he normally would

Sia was just Sia, plays like hes Mose's size with the energiser bunnies energy

Sav had a great debut, big future for this lad

Having watched it again, you're right. I think he picked up a runner that the markers could have taken care of, but like you say it was more about good work by Leeds than about a misread by Savelio.

You watched it again.

Lucky you. Some Virgin media customers are waking up very disappointed. Changing the name on a series record. Very very naughty.

Watched Savelio from the age of 12 at Latchford. He will be a first team regular next year that there is no danger. Not only is he a great runner of the ball his got a very good offload game aswell. Saints did well just giving him the 10 - 15 mins. He needs minutes against poorer teams and when we have fewer injuries.

Considering the brain disease he had last year his done super making his debut this year. One down side for me is the fact if he does very well he will be picked up by the NRL. Alot of his family still live down under and he visits quite regular, also a dream of his to play down there.

Also big raps to Greg Richards, prop forward vs Leuluai and Peacock at 18 years of age.

How close is it to our best win in the summer era?

Context of a very raw team up against one of the title favourites running white hot leading up to the game

Watching all leeds games this season we have hardly run white hot, beating 3 poor teams in London Catalans and hull KR, struggled against Huddersfield to get a draw and scrapped through against an out of sorts Warrington, last night was the game to see how they have progressed, the same old in the end and to much respect for saints playing one out rugby and tactics which made it easy for saints to defend. I thought we would run away with the game in the last quarter but how wrong I was. Great Win for saints tonight and your squad has enough quality players to put 2 superleague quality teams out, if only leeds could find some quality young props that you have on board. Have no doubts you will reap the rewards of your investment in youth, I can see saints taking over the leeds past domination of superleague in years to come, your club in good hands and enjoy what's to come,
I applauded the saints performance at the end as you got what we deserved !!!!
A much deserved win and good luck for the rest of the season.

We've always been there or there abouts. But to dominate would be really jumping the gun. We've won nowt yet
