All our signings since Brown has come have improved on the players who have left. (for me with the exception of Howarth, all though I accept this is becoming a minority view).

For me the real push now has to be to get a good 6 onboard. Wheeler simply cannot be relied on and unless things change GOB will be back with Dire come the end of the season.

Minority view or not we need some cover for Roby too - Hopefully somebody will step up from the juniors but if not we should be looking at the lower divisions as Howarth is just a short term sticky plaster

Of course we need cover for robes, but howarth simply is not the answer to that, he's not even SL standard IMO

If we got Chase, that would be absolutely top drawer, but its a very long shot.
If Salford get Chase, looking at a couple of other threads, I'd make a move for Snyed(sp?).
Assuming Salford go with Chase and Fages in the halves, he (and Salford) may be open to a move. Rumour has it that Salford wanted to offer him as a part ex for Chase, but he didn't want a move to Cas. I'm sure he could be persuaded over here though.

Saints will look to condition Beaumont early doors & get some size on him. We will have a monster pack next season, younger, quicker & hungrier with a quality scrum half to exploit the extra space. Building nicely

Beaumont is super aggressive too which is something we've been lacking.

I'm pretty happy with the signing. I've watched him this year and he's better than anything we've currently got. He's big, mobile, aggressive and works hard.

Providing he's over his injuries, I think he will go well for us.

I hope he goes well, but I think we have in effect signed a squad player to add depth and size to our pack

Not expecting much from him to be honest.

I suspect he wont be on big bucks so will probably fill a role similar to Bryn Hargreaves.

IF we are lucky he will turn into a signing similar to that of Nick Fozard.

His stats from the Wigan game were solid if somewhat unspectacular, however they were comparable to Wigans so called star forwards.

It has to be born in mind however that the Wigan game was I understand his best performance all season.

Against Warrington he managed 7 carries and 38 metres, which is about what Josh Perry would put out when playing crocked.

I honestly don't know what your seeing I couldn't believe it when the rumour was going around that he was signing for you I wouldn't have been surprised if he had been released at the end of the season to be honest but good luck to the kid but you won't find many rovers fans bothered that he's leaving

Well, according to your club's own website, HKR had offered him a new deal for next season but he opted to come to us. So I guess the club must have thought something of him.
