I don't think you'll have to worry too much about Saturday. We've lost Platt, and possibly Langley and Walker, leaving us with 17 available players, 3 of which are hookers.

I can't say I'm sorry to hear that. We seem to be getting a little better each match, so we'll take any advantage we can get at the moment.

I think we'll mess around a bit with positions ths week.

If Wello is out injured then I hope Brown puts Makinson in at fullback. I'd like to see what he can do there when he is expecting to play there and has a bit of time to prepare, instead of just being thrown in at the deepend every now and again.

If Wello is out we need the least disruption, Makinson got to be full back, Gardner on the wing. Leave the half backs as they are for until Easter at least.

Probably wise. it could be a good week for the halves.
If Braford are as depleted as their fans say, then Lomaskell might be given a better platform by the forwards and be able to have a more comfortable game to get their partnership going again.

I'd like to see us put Makinson at fullback but will be just as happy to see Lomax there as I think that will be his best position. I've heard from a good source that Lomax will be at fullback this week, Jones to the backrow and Wilkin to 7 until a 7 who is in a bit of trouble at another club parts company with them and may join us mid year.

No offence but I hope this isn't just bull. I'd hate to get my hopes up for a new 7 only for it not to materialise!

my source is usually pretty accurate. He's no world beater but he's a 7 with a good kicking game currently in Super League.

Jones to the back row?

That bit surprised me but his defence has been dodgey and he lacks a bit of pace but looks as strong as a horse. May be a good move for him if it happens

My thinking with Gardner on the bench was that he could possibly come on and have a stint in the 2nd row, is certainly big enough for it and was making a lot of yards for us last season with ball in hand til he got injured.

Would also have option of Meli to 2nd row, or Jones to 2nd row and Meli to centre if it wasnt working but would be an interesting experiment to see how Ade fared there.

And who will play centre? Meli, with Gardner coming onto the wing?
Our pack's not exactly been in dominating form,I'd suggest moving a centre into it isn't the best idea.
I also don't really take with him being dodgy in defence. We've leaked some tries down that side, but don't forget that there's generally a halfback defending between Meli and Jones, one who tends to be making some rather crazy decisions in defence at present.
