| I'll answer this, and then get it back on track
Quote: Top Saint "I thought this - "to get a feel for the place, see where they will sit and work out a match day routine." said it all. You had to ask Latics if you could kindly rent THEIR stadium on matchdays, so for you to do the above you would have to go and watch Latics. There, that wasn't too taxing was it!!'"
That's not true at all. The JJB (as it was then) was completed in August 2009. Wigan RL played one play off game there in September (losing to Castleford)
Wigan RL fans had the opportunity to go and have a look at their prospective seats BEFORE they purchased them and weren't charged £15 for the privilege.(Obviously that is not true of the South Stand as they were unreserved) Ten of us sorted our seats out that way. Many used the Cas game to have look around, and decide where they wanted to sit.
I realise that Saints don't have the time frame to do that.
Now back on track.
The Stadium Tour should have been marketed at non season ticket holders. If they had the tour at £15 and had a plan of available seats they could have offered a discount (say £5 or £10) to entice new season ticket holders. That would be the sort of deal a decent marketing team would come up with.

| I had to pay for a tour around Wigoon's ground. Cost me about £20 total, including the food I chose. I was there for about forty-five minutes all told and was allowed to walk around wherever I wanted with no schedule to adhere to. It was a reasonably pleasant experience although I know it's unlikely to compare to being shown around Saints new ground. That said though when there I did also managed to pick up some household goods and Club Card points too.

You spotted the deliberate mistake
It was 1999. Thank you.
But the point actually stands, in fact my wife has just reminded me about going to sit in an empty JJB stadium to find our best seats.
Can I bypass the swear filter please, just for you?
Anyway, please stop derailing threads, you know it's only me who is allowed to do that.

| we have had many chances to decide where to sit /stand in Langtree Park with the many roadshows, stadium plans, etc so we dont NEED to sit and look round most people know where they want to be , and the stadium site is marketed to anyone, so non season ticket holders are welcome , oh and Season tickets are going well I believe

| I'm a ST holder, and will certainly be booking a tour of the stadium. My ST won't get me into the areas the tour will get me, and I want to soak up as much of our shiny new home as I possibly can.
£15 for a behind-the-scenes tour and food is good value IMO. And, perhaps more importantly, it's money into the club's coffers. Had we not done this, the same green-eyed bores would be condemning the club for missing an opportunity to cash in on the new ground.

| Is there anybody from the "1873 Founder Members Club"", just received a letter brief of a private tour pre arranged in January, but not much detail of what to expect.
