It's so long since Saints were in wigans shadow that wigan still had their own ground. Now Wigan can't even see the shadow cast by saints for the much bigger one cast by uncle dave and his beloved latics. I must confess, when we are sat in our new stadium next season, all o will be thinking about is how I wish we could rent a stadium off a local football club, when they would allow it of course. Shadow my arris. Wigan may have a past, but saints have a gar brighter future.

Why don't you focus on your current excellent youth system and very recent success rather than delving into the past all of the time? I don't want to burst your bubble but nobody gives a toss about 20 years ago, it is current success which breeds 'hatred' (jealousy).

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

You don't get that as much now that Warrington have the wonga. If anythign the competition cap is more likely to get the thumbs up across the board because people can see that it's helping to put youngsters into first grade teams instead of the same old fringe veterans. |

Brett kenny and her boring little friends still prattle on about the communist cap. They are about as relevant as a chocolate fire guard in an igloo. The one good thing to come out of the goons fleeting success was the cc arguments demise. If they can get over the travesty of the GF being contested by two inferior clubs, am sure it will be resurrected in their extended off season. |
