Grahams hit on Lima was the shoulder square in the chest.Gardner was allready diving into the tackle when Richards passed the ball so couldnt alter his momentum.Hoffmans hit was with his shoulder on the kicker after he had kicked to ball and as far as im aware the rules were changed to protect the kickers. |

Simmons said at the press conf that he didn't see it.
He thought the RFL had a good system to deal with such matters.
The Saints coach said he was now concerned about the Cas game.
His best comment was that whatever went on out there was better than laying a 1000 bricks a day!

he's gotta be up in front of the committee next week.
he never attempted to charge down the kick from wheeler and proceeded to lead with his shoulder.... as per the rules set out by the rfl he should have been penalised, and should face a ban

The pointbis when Hooper did it there was no rule in placevto protect the kicker. Hooper pretty much set the tone for the sin binning of a late hit on a kicker.
Sone of you lot are either really stupid or good wind up merchants. Hoffman not getting 10 minutes was a shocking decision and I can only guess that MR Silverwood never seen it.
As for the Wiganer who said Hoffman had a fine game, I agree but he was outshone by Sia Soliola. There'll be a few Wigan players staying in bed tommorow morning.

Nothing in it at all. He was fully committed to the tackle and Wheeler getting injured is pure accident.
Hopefully he'll be back playing soon. He looked awesome when he was on. On a side note what a pleasure to watch rafts of youngsters like him, Lomax, Foster, Makinson, Charnley, Farrell, Mossop etc etc running around and making such huge contributions. A great sign for both clubs future.
