| TBF to our little ginger friend (loz) TMFMISL has had a good few games of late. Lets not forget that props peak in their early 30s and that this man is only 26! He has a good few years ahead of him and if he can keep up his recent form he'll be a quality prop in anyone's pack.

Not sure you could be further off the mark there if you tried. At a recent fans forums all of the guests agreed that the guy is the biggest s**thouse in the game, it was suggested that a} were there a poll done of all the Superleague players about who they would like most to fight with Bailey would come top by a country mile, largely because b} he's got the worst attitude in the game; the disregard he shows towards fellow professionals on the pitch is said be matched by his post match attitude. Even Mr perma-tan Karl Kirkpatrick said he'd love to give him a crack.
Certainly doesn't sound like fear to me.

| Its not about what the fans think though is it? All about what the coaches think and he must be doing something right for him to be selected week in week out when fit.

| The answers at the fans forum would have been given by members of the forum ie players not the fans.I have heard the same about Bailey at other Forums.
I trust Bailey is not commanding a fortune on the salary cap,so is a good squad member enabling cap money to be spent elsewhwere. That will be the reason for him getting picked. As for him being disliked,it seems to be at every ground bar Leeds. That must say something

| Bailey's a big tough defender, that's his main strength. Going forward he offers little compared to top line props. He doesn't just make tackles, he's very strong and aggressive in defence which reduces hard yards made against leeds and helps boss the play the ball.
For those that like to quote stats, you'll probably find that "tackles made" is influenced as much by minutes on the pitch as an actual work rate.
Bailey's high tackle count compared to his reletively low carries shows he works a lot harder in defence than in attack.
For me, a good club player, but offers too little go forward to fill an England shirt.
Who would I pick in front of him? Well, I was just thinking and there's 4 at Warrington I'd rather have representing us.
However, the fact he's only 26 should suggest he'll carrying on improving, so don't count him out being very impressive in the future. If he could transfer his agressive streak to his attack like he does in defence, he could be very good. He certainly has the size.
Dirty? Apart from the crack on Flannery, which wasn't awful, I didn't see much that bothered me.

| Ive said it before, its his attitude that most fans pick up on, therefore probably notice the bad things he does more than anyone else.
He did have the potential to be a great prop but I dont think he will ever become great.
I would love to see him get owned like Scully did again. I think most fans would enjoy that.

Agree almost 100%. I think why people have started to hype Bailey up as of recently is because he is starting to make very hard runs at the defense and successfully gaining ground. Accompanied with some good offloads (i.e the Hall try) he is begining to show the early promise at the start of his career of a athletic ball playing prop. Hears hoping he continues to develop and you never know based on current form he could be pushing for international honers.

I thought he'd just been saving up his runs for us
He made two strong runs toward the end that had a huge impact on the game. The first one, for McGuire's try, he got through after Moore screwed up/bottled it/went for the interception and the 2nd one, which ended in Halls' try I thought he was over himself, but was stopped by a good hit from Wello. The offload wasn't exactly text book , but fortune favoured the brave on that one.
Generally though, his go forward still falls short of a player in his position (imo)
I hope he does continue to improve I don't think English RL is producing enough players of real size and that's something Bailey has. If he can get his go forward sorted he could definately be useful in our capaign against the Aussies.

| His attitude was typified in the way and the speed he threw the water bottle in the directionof the touch judge after being spoke to on Saturday, following the Leon Pryce injury.
The man is a c0ck.

Don't be such an idiot, you are just making yourself look the c0ck.
You don't throw a water bottle onto the pitch when finished, you throw it off the pitch. The touch judge was nowhere near the water bottle, and the touch judge had no involvement in the decision.
