my tip to replace potter is john kear. i.m.o a very good coach knows rugby league inside out and he wouldn't turn the opportunity down twice i dont think!'"
If rumours are led to be believed then Leeds, Huddersfield, Saints, Bradford and Catalans will be looking for new coaches for next season.

| Quote: stedhedjos "they aint officially classed but every body knows that saints have the best youth sytem in superleague, look at our team of home growns...wellens roby eastmond graham wilkin wheeler forster cunningham moore lomax dixon ashurst clough all these players are home growns how many in superleague can say that ? its a full team of home growns and every one of them is a class act'"
Judging on last Years Academy Grand final I wouldn't say that we have the best Youth system around. Wigan's team were much the better side. Yes, we have a good youth system, but I think Wigan would lay a claim to having the best one around unfortunately.

Is it the back to back finishes outside the top3, the back to back play-off dump outs by wigan or the 70-0 thrashings that you miss the most?

18821_1298880800.jpg
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".
Therefore ZERO.
Don't forget he was a candidate for the England job, just proves he is hopeless.
Uk coaches are years behind their NRL counterparts, Look at the difference MM has made at the Pies, Brown at Hudds, need we go on.
People have speculated with KC and Scully being in the frame, Sorry, as good as they are (were) as players, (2 of my all time greats for Saints). they do not have the hands on experience required IMHO.
Jobs for the old boys does not work, look at Agar, McNamara, Betts, Cullen.

I`d be happy with JT, I watched the South Sydney story a few months ago and he seemed to cope pretty well there and turned a failure of a team to a play-off contending side. With the players we have, i`d think he`ll cope pretty well. Even his first stint at coaching at the Ealls when he was thrown in at the deep end he managed ok and his Win : Lose ratio isnt that bad either, Ricky Stuart`s is worse. If its announced we`ve got him i`ll be happy, far better choice than Morgan!

he doesn't do as much as people think. he takes the credit for other coach's hard work and knowledge!

| I wish people would cock off with John Kear.
He's only won the same amount of silverwear as Wigan in the last ten years.
