Think you are a tad confused ! That is a reference to the Murrayfield CC Final when 1 on 1 Albert chose to run directly into a fullback who could barely walk all week leading up to the final for reasons that will remain only known to himself.

And the 2004 final at Cardiff when Albert was clear and Radders caught him and put him into touch in the corner, a better tackle than Murrayfield and one of the best I have ever seen.

| Quote: post "He is a good player yeah but he isn't the best SL player ever IMO, from 2001 to 2004 Terry Newton was the best 9 in SL.
If Cunningham has been the best player of the SL era why hasn't he ever been close to winning the MOS award? I think my judgement on Cunningham is a little harsh due to him bottling it for GB on numerous occasions.
This isn't a Wigan fan bias against Saints because if Sean Long would have recieved the award I would have fully agreed.'"

Yes that was hooker v hooker.
This was Radders v arguably the fastest winger in Rugby League at the time.

Made his debut 93
Retired (1st Time ) 2005
4 League Leaders Or Championships
4 Grand Finals inc 1 x win
3 x CC finals
4 x Premiership wins
1 x Harry Sunderland
1 x Lance Todd
+ How many Test caps & International tries?
Yeah, The Wigan Team of his time were absolutely Shocking & He was Vastly overated!
PS
Seeing as it was only when the likes of himself & Faz retired/left the club did the house of cards come tumbling down kind of makes me think how good these players actually were!

"We don't need no education!"
Wise up old man. History is being re-written.
Farrell and the Ginger Doormat are but mere distractions to what is being played out.
Move along Wigoons, nothing to see here!

Obviously playing well, but compare his stats to the other sixes in the comp and he isnt that far clear.
So far this year Amos Roberts is head and shoulders above everyone, 10 tries, 6 assists, over 1000 metres made. Top class. If he keeps that form up there will only be one winner
If u compare the stats on Superleague.co.uk, there is no way Leon Pryce has been a MOS contender, Sam Tomkins probably just shades him and he hasn't been on fire yet this yr

It not chosen on stats though. Its chosen by the guys who see and play against said candidates.
There was a post on C&W about a superb sidestep Roberts did for a build up to a try - there's no stat on the website to account for that and about a million other things that go towards being a good (or bad) rugby player.

have you actually seen him play? Saints have only been on TV once (i think), in the first game - so not sure how you are judging his performances.

What do you think of the Radlisnki tackle on a walking Jon Wilkin that he somehow managed to miss?

Wasn't that Richie Mathers at Cardiff?
Either way it wasn't as funny as Wellens on David Vaealiki

JJB, either 2002 or 2003. Wilkin was walking looking for a support player, Radlinski launches himself at Wilkin and ends up as a heap on the floor. Wilkin looks down at him, wipes his feet on Radlinski, laughs and carries on walking. Quite simply, the most embarassing tackle I have seen from a fullback and makes the doormat nickname so apt.
