I'd love to see us have a go at this. If it worked we would have our most complete pack since '06. However, while I think Cunningham has all the attributes to tear it up at prop (he already defends like one and is still immense going forward), I don't know if his body would be up to it.

i just think the 20 minute stints would be perfect for him as well

If we start using KC as a prop we'll be a squad player down half way through the season IMO.
Besides, I'd leave Moore out of the 17 before I played KC at prop. He's too important to us at 9.

Puletua may well play in the back row, there is always Hargreaves to play prop. I'd imagine Soliola will play centre, unless we have a back row crisis or come up against a monster pack, as he was signed as a centre.

| No point in bringing Moore back to the club to then sit out the season, while KC and Roby cover the hooking position.
We have to start thinking ahead, and therefore Moore must play an incresasing role in the squad with KC taking more of a back seat.
I find the option which some have said, of playing KC from the bench interesting. As it may be better starting and finishing a match with Moore, and using KC in the blockbusting impact role.
Roby would then play loose forward.

I just can't see KC taking a backseat in his final season. He will want to play in most games and he is still a top quality player, so if fit he should play.
At the same time, I understand that both Moore and Roby are quality players and deserve a spot in the 17. It's similar to last season with Eastmond being too good to miss out, we're in the same boat now with Moore. One of those two will have to move as I can't see KC playing at prop or in the back row.

| Was interesting watching the pre season games, at one point Moore went into the 7 role with Roby at 9 too. I honestly think when fit all 3 will be in the 17 with a 9, 13 and impact player - I wouldnt be suprised to see them rotated through the season as all 3 players are capable of playing all 3 roles.
IMO Wilkin is a natural Loose forward and should e taking the Scully ball playing role but Potter doesnt seem to agree so I would expect to see him stuck in the second row - as was mentioned earlier a wildcard for this season could be Magennis , before his injury he looked like a real talent and a ball player.

Hope so, then he can hammer some of the Leeds lot.

| I would say we have two good options.
Moore: Great kicker and distributer which would be far more useful from first reciever.
Wilkin: Wasted in the modern second row position (outside centre). Having him play more central would be a better use of his talents.
And possibly
Pryce: Lets be honest Pryce plays a lot like a loose forward at the moment. Maybe we should put him at 13 and then think about who we want to play at stand off.
But hey what do I know. I wonder what Potter will go for
Flannery: More a 12 than a 13. He is not a bad player but playing him at 13 is like having a third second rower. Which we wouldn't need if we had better props.

| If you had real blinding pace on the outside I could see good reasons for starting with Moore because of his distribution, but you don't.
So i can still see you going with Cunningham and Roby as bench hooker. Where that leaves Moore I'm not sure.

Not according to Harry Potter...
[i"Whoever gets the nod will be playing outside current Kiwi international Sia Soliola after Potter confirmed his major close-season recruit will make his Super League debut at left centre against Hull."[/i

TBH I've said for a while Pryce is a 13 , this would let us put Wheeler in at 6 and still keep Leon in the mix to add the required experience but he either doesnt want to play there or Potter doesnt fancy it

| Pryce would make a great 13, and could probably beat Sinfield to a England spot in that position. If he realises this is another matter. I would also be a little concerned having 2 inexperienced half backs, it could pay off massively, and at least we would have Leon and Roby/Moore/Wilkin around to help

Exactly my point - people stress about putting wheeler in with eastmond and that may be a problem .. if we didnt have experience around them. Surely having Wheeler , Pryce and Eastmond on the field at the same time would be a benefit.

| I've been advocating playing Pryce at loose forward for a few years, however how would that leave the Cunningham, Roby, Moore situation?
