I don't see why we can't beat Leeds. Considering how disastrous our team is according some people, it really is a massive surprise we are guaranteed to finish in the top 2 of the league. We just starting to get some players back now. We've beat Leeds twice this season already, so we have a team capable of beating them, obviously as we have done it twice already. A lot depends on who we have back in 2 weeks time though.

Previous results are irrelevant. Leeds look a completely different side since. Every single one of our forwards look immense. Burrow, McGuire and Webb are running the show and look as good as ive ever seen. Whereas i think its fair to say your forwards and backs are looking the total opposite.

Dont get me wrong i think its going to be a good game, but Leeds will eventually have too much power in the forwards and the backs will take it from there. But that certainly aint the end of it. Saints will come back in the playoffs. As already mentioned i doubt your going to suddently hit your form again without having a couple of games. You will improve against Leeds and continue that against Catalans then i believe you will hit your straps for the playoffs.

But we have proved we are capable of beating you this season, as we have beat you twice, just like i said.

We have proved that yes, but that team we beat them with looked on course to win things, this team thats turned out for the past month or so has looked on course to just make fans boo boo booooo.

In the first match against leeds this year, Cayless went off with his injury and Puletua didn't play, so we were'nt over run with big forwards then either.

We're not playing well, your right, but we have our first proper rest in 3 years, hopefully that will do us the world of good. Like i said, we're starting to get players coming back into the side and with this weekend off, that gives us even longer to work on things and put things right.

The rest is indeed very welcome and needed. I have said many time that to play back to back to back RL at the intensity our boys have had to do is some achievment, even though we come up short in 2 GF's, not many teams will reach every cup final year after year after year... we look like we need a month rest though, not just a week.

Looking forward to the Leeds game, will watch it closely to see what were upto see if we try anything new.

I think you're missing the point.

When we beat Leeds earlier this season, we were on form, Leeds were not. Leeds are now hot to trot and we just trot. We're dire at present and Leeds are entirely the opposite. Unless a miracle occurs during this fortnight off, we have nothing but a resounding loss to look forward to a week on Friday.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. Eventually, we are going to hit some form again, and who's to say its not going to be after the week off?

Exactly! The doom and gloomers on here are having no effect on me! We are capable of winning this, obviously we aren't favourites, but that's when we play our best rugby!

Saints will be good for the weeks rest but i still think a bit of game time after that will be needed until Saints get back to business.

it wont be long until you have HKR/Hudds to deal with, and we all know about your record with those 2 this season. Jeez Potter is going to be busy this week!
