Where's O'Carroll up to? He looked the best prospect out of him, prescott and hargreaves a coupl eof seasons ago?'"
Prescott isn't a player you'd overly worry about i suppose but he does a great job for the side. I know what you mean about him not being a match breaking threat though.
As for O'Carroll he started the season off really well but broke his foot/ankle(can't remember which) in his first reserve game of the season after being rested from the first team. It didn't heal properly so he had to have it operated on again meaning he's out for a couple of months yet i think.
I like O'Carroll but his size holds him back a touch. When he puts natural bulk on over the next couple of years he'll be a top class prop imo. He's brave, as tough as they come and has a good engine.

I have the upmost respect for the work horse type props, but I think on that front we've got you covered. What worrys me is when our 1st string props (or prop) goes off and you bring feka on, the shift in weight will be dramatic. Saying that, if Graham and Cunningham are still on when feka comes on, I won't be that worried.
Am i right in thinking that Prescott started against Leeds with Fielden on the bench?

We've started with Prescott and Coley for a while now and then bring Feka & Fielden on.
Fielden does a lot of work around the ptb, particularly defensively. It's system that appears to be working well.

| We need to make a fast start. If Wigan are in it after 60 I'd be worried as our big players will have emptied alot of their tanks (Keiron, Jammer, TP).
I'd go
Wellens (him being fit is massive as it allows Gidley to move back to hos best position and bolsters the back row as well with Flanno/Gilly not having to play at 3)
Gardner/Armstrong if Ade isn't fit
Gidley
Dean
Meli
Pryce
Eastmond
Graham
KC
Puletua
Wilkin
Gilmour
Flannery
Clough
Emmitt
Dixon
Ashurst

Wello was only out for 1-2 weeks. Hence him being named in the 19 man squad.

| Just a quick question, but why is Meli never played in the forwards? He's got fingers like butter, but he can't half take the ball forward when he wants to, and with Bryn out why not? Let's stick Armstrong on the wing, and bring Meli in to cover for Bryn. The way Meli couldn't be ar$ed to jump for the ball against Quins and prevent a try was embarrassing, and any such hesitation or slight fumble against Wigan could prove costly.
