I think this story's rubbish!
If Kyle starts to demand Longy's wages at 19 then goodbye. If he proves he can hack it at 7, and he hasn't anywhere near proved that, he should get a big increase, if he then breaks into the england squad, then he might command longy's wages.

Surely any deal he gets will be based on achievements as they come along. All deals for young players step up year by year but no club is going to immediately offer one of (if not [ithe[/i) highest wage at the club to a completely unproven injury prone youngster. Imagine what that would do to players like Graham, Roby, Wilkin etc, all regular internationals who would be earning less than a player that can't even hold down a regular 1st team spot. They would either leave or demand at least as much as Eastmond.

I'm very confident that Mr Mac is wise enough to understand all these issues and will make the right decision.

Leave it to BIG Mac he'll sort it all out.

I think this is unsubstantiated rumor and press talk.

He's a young lad who some are building up too quickly and needs to be given time.

If he is demanding this kind of money he is in for a rude awakening I think!

highly doubt such. Actually offiah seems to have a wise head on his shoulders these days, from listening to him on certain points he brings up on sly sports.

The veracity of these rumours seems pretty dubious.

But if he does want unrealistic wonga - let him go. At the start of this season we were pinning most of our hopes on Eastmond, but with the startling development of Lomax and Wheeler we are in a position where we needn't tolerate being held over a barrel.

I watched wheeler a lot before he signed for saints, he was outstanding then at 6, i just hope sdaints don`t try and make him into a centre, because if they do we are all gonna miss out on something very very special at stand off, not sure were lomax fits in at 6 or 7 ?

This rumour is bollax according to a first teamer. Says Kyle is nothing like that and wouldnt dream of making such a request.

But on the flip side of that Matt Gidley started out as a 6 too. I wouldn't be upset if he turned out like that for the next 13/14yrs!

I heard he's happy to play for a 20p mix and a bag of bon bons...

If the wee boy ate all that sugar at once he'd be in hospital.

I could have made an inappropriate comment about nursing him back to health there, but I won't!

Sure everyone has to make their first post sometime but the fact that he posted such a fantastical rumour on his first post screams Troll, as your backing up of him so vociferously in your first posts screams the same about you. I'd even go as far as to suggest you are a) the same person or b) his friend sat with you, based on the fact that you have both posted from the same IP.
