| On the dodgy grounds that Long left and given the lack of decent British scrum halves, the only new scrum half for next year should be Eastmond or a recruit from the NRL.
When the academy has produced some really promising players, I would be disappointed if we looked overseas.

I dont think 29 is old for a front row. Paul Anderson was 31/32? when he joined us and IMO we got his best 2 yrs and DA was convinced he could have done another.
I would go for Lynch if we can.

Ainscough is a talent but, if what i am led to believe is correct, he could be Wigan's new Barry Ledger.

Sorry, He's 30, but I agree that's still not too old for a prop. If you look at his stats you can tell that. I just hope he is one of Mac's prioritys to re-sign.

I would agree with that. He has great pace and would be a good player on the wing. I have been slated in the past for saying I would rather have him than someone like Fox. With Bradford all over the place they may struggle to resign all their players. None of our back three have great pace so Halley would be a good signing.
The other two players I think would be good signing are the two Matts at Bradford. Matt James has looked very good this season for fax and seems to be a big strong mobile forward. Matt Cook has looked good for the Bulls too but as we have a lot of second rowers another one is probably not needed.
Lynch is a bit of a donkey and rumour is that he may be on his way back to Cas anyway.
I would not consider any of the others.

| I wouldn't sign one of them. How depressing for the English game that there is no stand out talents on the market at the end of the year.

We may as well sign Penny then if pace is alls you look for in a winger.

| Of those on that list, Andy Lynch is the one that i would be most interested in to sign.
Against him though is his age.
He could however do a job for a couple of years like Paul Anderson did while some of our young props mature.
David Halley is fast but is quite error prone. You have to remember this is a guy that the Bulls loaned out at the start of the season because they regarded him as not good enough. He then went to Wakey and went quite well. He has managed just 5 SL appearances.
