Are there taxis from St Helens Junction these days?

There are plenty of buses from right outside the station, all of which go through the town centre (where there are taxis!) and some of which go to Eccleston, which is the area of St Helens in which Knowsley Road can be found. The bus costs around £2.00 to £2.50 to get out to Eccleston, with it being £1.70 to the town centre from St Helens Junction, one way.

You need to watch train times going back. And the buses as well! Taxi back is probably a good idea.

You'll be lucky... how many hackney cabs do you think will be outside Junction station at any time of the day .... none. Get the number for a private hire such as 01744 600 600 but there are others ..good luck

Get the train to St Helens Central pal, The George Hotel is just around the corner and you can come up to the game with us.

If you let me know what time you arrive, I can let you know if i can pick you up ok. Or you can get a cab/bus to st helens town centre, head to teh cultural quarter ( makes me s that haha ) and go to the George Pub and take the mick out of the women that go in there.

Cnt u get a saints bus from lea green station around 6.30 - 7pm?

I should get into St Helens about half five.

There are buses every 10 minutes into the town centre/Eccleston at that time. Generally speaking the drivers are helpful, so just ask if the bus takes you near to the Saints ground (you may even end up on a bus with some Saints advertising on it!). You have plenty of time, anyway, to find your way and there are plenty of taxis from the town centre if you end up going there to get something to eat first.
