The shoulder charge in itself is not a sending off offence.
It's the contact to the head that they are concerned about, and in Moon's case there was contact with intent. |

Just watched it again in slow mo, plenty of intent there lifting the shoulder to go for the head. Could have been a lot worse (broken jaw) if he had gone in with more momentum. |

The only other person to fall in the latter category is Roby ( www.therfl.co.uk/the-rfl/disciplinary/item?5476), however the relevence in the matter is naught, owing to the fact the discussion was about a Leeds player challenging a disciplinary decision, and nothing else. Leeds fans dont half seem to have a complex this week! |
