IMO, we need a workhorse prop and maybe a back.'"
The thing is, people are already saying we don't have enough depth in the squad. If we lose them four players, and replace them with the four you named, then we will be even lighter in the squad as two of those players already take up 2 squad places. IMO, we need to keep Long, Cunningham and Gidley, and look to replace Cayless with a big prop. Then we will have the current squad, plus a prop forward to replace Cayless and then Moore and Soliola in the squad. I'd also look to bring in another back, preferably a very quick one, that can add a bit of compeition and pace to the side.

| Sidlow and Ratchford from Salford being "monitored".
Lack of game time and being played out of
position/opportunities respectively
means they could be available for
next season.
Sidlow provides a domestic replacment for Cayless
while Ratchford is seen as a hb with
an all round kicking game.

| I think Ratchford will be better than Myler and would love us go for him.

Anybody smell yet another Australian international on the lookout for a big fat new deal down under?
Not a cat in hells chance of seeing Thurston over here until he's at least 31-32.
Funny when you think because when he was in the Bulldogs reserves i bet a superleague team could have got him for about 40k a year

At best that is just for 2011 and by then surely your kids will have stepped upto the plate, otherwise you'll lose them?
At worst its just his agent trying to get him a better pay packet

| Not a rumour but i would love us sign Craig Hall from Hull.
Think he could be a great addition to our backline. Very fast and good hands.
Not getting a look in at Hull at the minute but i reckon we could get the best out of him.

I agree to some extent. I think he has been very poorly handled by Hull. He should be a world beater by now.
I remember watching him play against Israel Folau in the academy internationals v australia and he was every bit a match for Folau.
It says a lot about UK player development that Folau is regarded as one of the worlds best players, while Hull have ditched Hall for some journeyman

Where would we fit him in though? I'd take Wheeler at centre before him and Lomax at full back.
He needs to move somewhere where he'll be taught how to defend pretty quick though.

As you know I've been on about that many times.
Darryl Goulding was the other centre and they were certainly not overplayed.
Somehow we don't seem to be able to take that next step (admittedly a big one) that takes us to that next level.
I've lost count of the number of beers I've managed to get down my throat discussing the reasons with true RL supporters of many clubs, and NEVER being able to come up with definitive reasons.
