I expected Leeds to win this one before the squads were revealed and I think it's a certainty now
Home advantage critical for me when both sides are so evenly matched, especially with Bentham being a homer

It's a 50/50 game as always in this clash. If Leon Pryce is on top of his game i reckon we will come away with the spoils.

Another interesting point is that we have to out try-score Leeds by roughly 3 to 2 to factor in our lack of a goalkicker.
Where is this Foster everyone goes on and on about? He must be complete garbage if they couldn't hide him on the wing so he can do the kicking duties.
If the stories about Wello's wife sprouting were true and not an April fools, we might as well call in late on and say the coach broke down.

Let's hope your right. A lot of people that know more about the game than me say he needs Sean Long to be at his best.

Complete myth pal. Pryce was superb last week at Wakey and Sean Long wasn't out on the park. If Pryce is up for it and the pack can get a roll on Pryce will play and spark off the back of it.

But only 5 times out of the last ten...
2 times out of the last... 2 we've won the Grand Final

Bluey is going to print the above post off and put copies on the Leeds Rhinos dressing room walls....

I'm referring to Leeds under the coaching of Bluey. I thinks he's only beat us twice both victories coming in torrential conditions. Saints winning comfortably 4 times on dry tracks. It seems to me he lacks ideas on how to stop the Saints roll on and Brand of RL when the conditions are conjusive to saints type of rugby.

Which matters because? What is Leeds' record against Wigan in Grand Finals like?
Can anyone imagine the shame of losing to that shower in a Grand Final? Ew....

That won't do much good, only Kevin Sinfield has the ability to read and he's not strong enough to smash anyone.

| Leeds' pack lazy ?!?!?!?!
That pack has won them the championship twice on the bounce so it cannot be that bad.
Having said that I do think Saints are the superior side, every stat suggests it barring the GF for 2 years and as has been said, in both it lashed it down which certainly doesn't suit Saints, however Leeds found the way to win.
Due to a lack of SH and I really would have preferred to throw Lomax in there rather than be moving Wilkin or Roby, I have to go with Leeds. This squad suggests to me that if Pryce doesn't show (and lets face it, nobody knows if he will or not) then Saints are going to be playing a very simple game through the ruck with little else, therefore if Pryce doesn't show, we have very little, if any chance of winning the game.

| Wilkin won't let us down at 7, and Slong's kicking hasn't exactly been sparkling this year so Gidley won't fare much worse.
Whether we win depends on the pack competing and Pryce showing up, just as it would if Longy was in there.
Still too tight to call IMO, can't wait.
