Well, I heard Wheeler's name mentioned four times on the radio tonight: twice when he got tackled, once when he dropped the ball and once when he gave a penalty away. I wasn't at the match so I can't comment on whether this was the case but I got the impression he didn't make a big impression when given the chance.

He was garbage. Did most things poorly and went hiding for large periods.

So now you're agreeing with what I've said (and been pilloried for) for about five or six years. I'll reiterate, he is, along with Paul McShane, Tommy Lee and Shaun Ainscough probably the most overrated YOUNG player I have ever seen.

All were very good at 16 or 17 years of age, but never progressed well enough.

I've never been 100% convinced on him making a super league player. He certainly had potential but without the right attitude then he's not worth having.

If we can't rely on him during an emergency like this then he may as well go now.

It all depends which comes first, 3 or 4 games to find some form for the team or 3 or 4 games to get injured.

Being a confidence, fragile player to get us through the play offs is very low percentage.

Let's be honest, he's been stealing a living off saints for a good few years now. I couldn't care less if he wins man of the match every game for the rest of the season, I'd still get shut of him.

He plays all of the remainaing games, looks garbage in most, plays well in 2 and is then hailed as the new saviour by some short term memory posters.
