Brown wants to play the same 1, 6, 7 and 9 to keep the continuity from the last 2 matches, this will be the third match in a row we have had the same pivots. Although I disagree with his selection of Wello at 6, surely Wello will not play 6 when Lomax and Roby are available. We need to get Lance in at 6 to give us Lomax at 1, Lance at 6, Wilkin at 7 and then Robes at 9. For me when all the forwards are fit Wello would struggle to get into the 17. However, it seems Brown maybe afraid to drop Wello.

Even Lance is a better option than wello, at least he can run!

I can understand Brown going for continuity with Wellens and also not wanting to play Hohaia for 80 minutes as he's been in and out with injuries this year so probably wants to ease him back. But I don't think I can cope with Wellens at 6 for much longer.

Funny how that happens. Shenton looked really good at Cas, came to us and appeared ineffective. Manu looked terrific at Hull, came to us and so far appears largely ineffective.

I wonder what the common denominator is.

Moving to a really big club has that effect on some players. The Goons have had the same problem with players like Orr, Clinch (sp) , Chester etc . Some players never really settle in after moves or just cant handle the additional pressure at bigger clubs with greater expectations.

You never stop looking to have a pop at Saints do you? Saddened has comedic value , you just sound like a bitter stuck record at times.

It's a joke basically , I'm shocked that Brown cant see how useless he is there. Pretty much everyone else can see he is a dead end at 6. It's almost like he is desperately trying to fit him in the starting 13. I wonder if after 20 the plan is to stick him at 13 and bring the other fullback off the bench to play standoff?
