An act of bringing something or someone up to date, or an updated version of something.
Just because they're telling us about it, doesn't make it an update. An update suggests by it's very nature that something has changed, which it hasn't. I've never had a conversation with someone where they have updated me on the fact that nothing has changed.
I have no idea why I'm even getting into this to be honest, it doesn't really matter.  |

I think the fact they brought it up again shows their intent. If they wanted to ignore the issue so it would go away, putting it across the front page of the website ain't going to do that.
Whether the statement says anything new is debatable but it's only picking at slight differences, whether you think it's an update a refresh, a lastest state of play in the end I think we all agree that cladding is required.
I would suggest that the club has put this out because they have been asked about it. If someone asks you a question there are 3 options, say nothing, say the truth, say a lie.

Well what a load of cock, there is no impact this year barring the first year glory hunters, we're already well past many peoples expectations for this season, without even putting the cladding issue into the mix, which for 99% of the Saints isn't that much of an issue, would be nice to have, just like have the donuts in the catering stands is a nice to have, but not really gonna be of impact if not stocked. |
