| Superb today me thinks. I've rarely had such fun watching them play. They were just so solid and well organised, you never felt like we were in danger. I can hardly remember a mistake being made, it was ruthless and ultra efficient rugby. Graham and Tony P were outstanding, as were Leon and wickle Kyle.
Huddersfield seemed to think that playing their usual style would be enough. Holding down, slowing it down and playing solid isn't enough. Today was Harry 1 Nathan 0 for me. Everything they did in the semi final last year they failed or weren't allowed to do today. We looked stronger, faster and more creative.
Thats' the best I've seen us play in years.

| Seems like wheeler had very bad cut. It was down to the bone with stiches in and out the wound.

Did that happen when he went over the side wall?

| Congratulation on the win today. Excellent well drilled display - very tough side to break down. The ref was appalling but had no bearing on the result. Great following today! Good luck for the rest of the season.

| Good game today. We opened up very well and played some good rugby for those first two tries. Pryce's linking in the line was effective and Wheeler showed some great skill for those first two tries. The second second of that first half was all Huddersfield and they looked very dangerous. I feared for us in the second half with the wind with them, however we defended exceptionally well in the second half and the Giants ball handling deteriorated. I was a bit surprised they didn't bomb the hell out of Meli in the second half because he was nowhere on their first bomb of that half.
Wheeler was my MoM. Great play for the first two tries and then a great tackle on Brown (I think) on the line which stopped what was looking like a certain try. After that he ripped the ball one on one with a second rower and that was a turning point because it stopped Huddersfield's momentum.
Next best for me was Roby who gave us some go forward in the second when we most needed it with The Big Red Machine being my next pick. Another superb performance from him and that run for the second try really was bullocking.
We need to improve our speed of the ball for Friday because Huddersfield looked a lot sharped around the ruck and put us on the back foot when they added their zip around it. Wigoon will slow us down even more as their defence knows how to put attackers onto their back in the tackle and with the ball in hand they won't make the same errors that Huddersfield did today. Should be one for the ages on Friday and how fitting that would be for both clubs. The end of an era graced by players of both club's new eras. Fantastic stuff.

Wounds are superficial, he came back on. He'll look like a mummy next week, but theres no reason why he shouldn't play IMO.

He spotted one that nobody else on the ground did disallowing what looked like a perfectly legit try from Kyle.

| Couldn't make it today, but on the radio it sounded like a commanding 1st half performance with a real steeliness in defence in the 2nd half.
Great result on a ground where we've regularly struggled - I wonder if Mick is starting to win over some of the doubters?
He should be.

| Excellent all round team performance today. To be honest difficult to single out a man of the match. Agree that Gaz Wheeler had a blinder, hope his injury from going over the hoardings wasn't too bad at least he came back on.
They had to withstand a good deal of pressure too and generally defended very well.
TP was much improved and made some ground, Flannery grafted well. Roby made excellent yards, KC caused havoc running from dummy half especially late on and Jammer was fantastic. Kyle looks more the part as the weeks go by.Everybody played their part from 1-17.
All in all an encouraging display and good to see a good following over the penines to witness probably our most complete performance year to date.
Sets things up nicely for Friday.

We are without doubt now playing the brand of football we are accustomed to.

I was thinking more of the three that Ray said Hallibut spotted which were played by Huddersfield at times when they were in for a try.
