Agree.
The fact is we should have been 22-0 up and had two calls go against us.

Mick...cool it man!!!
This isn't Substandard and their legions of Fekkwits driving the responsible Loiners insane, and they are not going collectively apoplectic over the decisions like they do on there. From what I've seen, most of what has been posted is reasonable and gracious. Indeed, I struggled to remember whose board I was on!
And there is no way this time we were robbed by Silverwood - maybe in the past, but no way this time. And it looks to me that Smith was as right with his decisions as M. Alibert was at Odsal with his.

Mick, he got them right. We got our first try after the most bizarre incident since Sherriffe had the brain fart at Odsal. They got a try, maybe two off a clear forward pass or two. I'm told one of ours was maybe forward too. It happens. This time everything likely did even out. We won a match we had few expectations of winning through sheer grit and determination; lets not spoil it and hack off the numerous Saints who have been so gracious in defeat, eh?

That's another week when a lot of people will have learnt a rule they were not previously aware of! And another week where you have to take your hat off to the video ref.'"
It was just an observation, that notwithstanding the best team won. In a strange kind of way I enjoyed the game. It's the first time in ages I had been on the edge of my seat until the final whistle - waiting for one of those 'Wide-to-West' moments.
Bradford deserved their win and I for one, despite the performance as a whole and the result, enjoyed the game. I experienced the whole spectrum of emotions.
Yes, there were errors from the officials and from Saints but that must not detract from the fact that Bradford deserved their win.

That's a good question, why did it (and why does it generally) take so long? I could see it was a knock on from the first couple of replays. I suppose he was making sure as he was the man who would take the flak for an incorrect hasty call if he got it wrong. Ian Smith holds the record having taken five minutes over a 'no try' call last season at Headingley. Thankfully this didn't come close.
As for Stevo, I believe he genuinely knows the game but he is contractually obliged to find controversy in every situation and it's an task he excels in.

if this is the case why have leeds not been on the right side of a pen count since half way through last season

No, its just that Leeds' spoiling tactics and whingeing at refs has finally come home to roost.

| Leeds discipline has been nothing short of pathetic under the reign of McClennan. Unless he sorts is out the only day out for the whinos fans will be Murrayfield Magic this weekend.

McClennan has 2/7 versus Saints.
Dry conditions 5-0 Saints
Wet conditions 2-0 Leeds
When we meet it's a foregone conclusion depending on conditions. Boringgggg
