The thing about O'Loughlin is that his game transfers up a level to international without any problem.

Stick him in the SOO or an Oz vs NZ game and he'd probably go about his business just the same as if it were Wigan vs Bradford.

That for me means he is very good not world class. He can hold his own and not be out of his depth but is still the next level down from being world class

He's no Sculthorpe, but its an admirable quality. One that not many can boast.

Roby and Graham are wc as they are / have been at a consistent enough level over a period of time and continue to improve. 

Sam Tompkins is pwc because he is better than a very good player but is only in his second full year. I think he will improve year on year and will be truly world class in 12 months time

Also Sam burgess IMO should be classed as per tompkins. 

Gareth widdop could also be classed as good / vg now and pwc if he keeps developing but not seen enough to give a more accurate assessment. 

I don't disagree but for us to succeed internationally we need more truly world class players. IMO will have 4 players of that caliber in 12 months time.

If we had 4/5 more I think we could win the odd series against OZ/NZ. If we had 10 more game on every year!!!!

I've been a bit dissapointed with Carvell since he first joined Wire, I didn't think he lived up to his potential.
When I've seen him this year, however, he's been immense. I think he could really trouble the Aussies off the bench, as could Big Shirley, whom people never seem to know what to do with in internationals.

Tim Sheens has said Ellis would be playing SOO and a Kangaroo if he was Australian. I'd say he's clearly a world class back rower.

It's a shame KC never tested himself against the Aussies or kiwis enough to see just how good he was on the international stage.

Who ever suggested lockers from the pies is mad. Not in a million years is lockers world class.

Never was and never will be.

However, he's a great club man and is Wigan thru and thru. Hed die for Wigan and he's very important to what Wigan do.
