Clough?

Langley and Tickle are both good players but I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would advocate signing more back rowers in our current position. Even after Gilmour goes we've got a truck load of them and we're currently watching our season collapse due to a severe dearth of prop forwards.

Tony P's natural place is second row,
Wlkin is wll established at second row,
Cloughy has been a revelation this season and should stay there.
Add the younbg players looking to establish themseleves and we are not so bad off at second row.

The problem is that our props are so bloody injury prone at the moment:
Cayless out indefinetely,
Maurie has been out for a while,
Hargreaves has had his share of knocks
Frodsham also out long term.

We need to pick up a prop asap, because we can't keep carrying Cayless given the injuries to our pack.

Couldn't agree more. Ideally I'd like us to sign two, as it's pretty obvious that Cayless will be going (although a mischievous part of me would like to see KC have a go at prop next year when we have Moore and Roby).

I could agree with that of Kieron playing prop next year with another experienced Prop coming in also to take the strain of the other players?

How? His talents are his massive strength, and distribution. If that doesn't potentially sound like an offloading prop, then what does? If you think we can get another player with his strength, skill and ability to change a game for the money he'll be on i'm all ears!

Another year older, already a history of knee injuries, you really think he wants to play another year to move to prop.

His natural talent is to control the pattern of play from dummy half. You say his talents is distribution and your correct, but distribution and offloading are entirely different things.

To retain KC to play him at prop is a total waste of time.

KC at prop is a daft idea. His body frame isn't suited to it, and his 'massive strength' was ended the moment he picked up that elbow injury.
