Saints have a great SL past, but I think next season will be TOTALLY WICKED INNIT.

Please give over - as already stated Wire ' s expansive style in the really big games actually made "dull as ditch water" Saints look entertaining. .........

Whichever way you look at it Saints were tedious and won nothing, didn't even make a final. Of course that was all down to the RFL conspiring against you, no doubt>

History tells us that Leeds were champions in 2007, 2008 and 2009, Wigan were champions in 2010 and Leeds again in 2011.

Saints contested all 5 finals, but guess what, it doesn't matter because it's Leeds and Wigan's names that are on the trophy for them years and nobody cares that Saints were even in final. Even Saints fans want to forget it. But hey, you enjoy 'being' in a final (and losing again)if that what matters to you.

Just so I'm clear, you prefer finishing 4th and playing tedious rugby all season to making the Challenge Cup final, the Grand Final and taking the League Leaders Shield (scoring the most points int the process). In which case you are easily satisfied and with a bit of luck your team won't disappoint you again next season.

I don't remember saying anything about being happy to finish 4th?

As a fan who has been spoilt watching my team in countless finals, I'm saying that losing in a final is nothing to be happy or satisfied about. If you're satisfied to lose in major finals then good for you and your club.

When Saints lose in a major final it is classed as a failed season to the fans.

Come back on here and gloat when you've actually won a title.


Ps. Notice how our big rivals still haven't come on this board rubbing our noses in it, and they've actually won a title. Imagine what that must feel like.
