A LOT depends on what is being said in contract negotiations and the general attitude of the player over them. Given that Jones was a regular for a considerable period (and turned in some very strong performances for his age) my guess is this has nothing to do with form or ability.
It's a similar story to Foster, Gaskell and a host of other juniors who have run afoul of the coaching team for one reason or another. |

He's normally a centre or 2nd rower. He may play centre to cover Dawson who would move to wing/full back. Or he may just be there for a bit more experience being part of the squad,etc. |

I reckon KC will stick with the same set up as last week with just the replacement for big Joe. We,ve had a long turnaround so I would imagine Wellens will get the No 1 spot again, obviously it will be all changed at the Easter Weekend.
Wouldn,t suprise me to see Walshy on the bench for the Easter Monday game against Hull.
Back to the Hull KR game it sounds as though KC still wants to give the hooker rotation a bit more games distance.

If he went that way but didnt want to play Jones then Hohaia could play centre - I think he played quite a few games for NZW there (2007 according to wikipedia). I think he could go well there tbh and it wouldn't leave him exposed to the high bomb
