It was still painfull to watch, worst performance ive seen from a rovers side since 1967 when i first started going. Worried now it might start a trend were only one game counts. Lets face it there,s only one game you want to win...

I do agree with the speedy recovery bit, hopefully it is not a career ender, but not the divided opinion bit. Perry is one of the few subjects we all agree on.

Always sad news if this is a career ender, but it's a harsh game and if it is over for him, retire him and use his money for a decent halfback now!

I think his wages will still count on the cap. Isn't that what happened to Luke Davico at Wigan? But then again somehow HKR found a way around it to deregister Michael Dobson.

de-register only took him off the quota not the cap.......HKR were under the cap. If he is out for rest of season then he can be de-registered to bring another quota player in as long as whatever they have paid Perry to date and any severance for rest of contract plus new players salary is still under the cap.

I'm all for getting names in, but we also need a balanced side. We are swapped with fullbacks at the moment and just putting a 6 or 7 on their back ain't going to make them a half.

I would suggest that a "Pack Leader" is something we are missing.

Given we also have the possibility of losing TP and Boof aswell, props will be on our shopping list.

If this is it for Perry, and we could get someone in instead if him, it'd be like having a free extra player. Top class props are hard to come by though, probably better a loan deal til the end of the season. But personally I'd rather spend any available funds and quota space on a real halfback
