I work with quite a few bath fans and often ask them how he is getting on. The response is either " who?" or "no idea". He is seen as a gobby chav from up north who doesn't fit tge cultured image of a club like bath, and has certainly not shown anything on the pitch to overcome that image. He also appears to be living the life of a premier league footballer, so I doubt the mega bucks he is currently earning are likely to set him up for life.

If you go on the bath webiste it has a lot of reports for both 1st and 2nd team that you can have a look at.

He got a run out for the firsts just after christmas (from the bench) but that was it when I read through it (about 2 weeks ago). It also mentioned he'd got a single try in all appearences for the 2nds from full back.

The guy had everything you wanted in a player except for heart.

He has a lot of heart. The problem seems to be who for? You can see the difference between Kyle and Sam Tomkins, Sams all heart for Wigan, Kyle was all heart for himself. That's fair enough too, but you don't last long in team sport like that

He is earning good money. Good on him. I would have done the same. if it doesnt work out, he will have no end of suitors waiting for him back in rugby league.

Nothing wrong with arrogance in an athlete, it breeds skill, confidence and a believe in own's ability to compete at the highest level.
