| This is the draw I wanted, Wigan and Leeds might be favourite for the Final. But iff Saints improve there form, similarly with Cas, could be a Saints v Cas final.

| Quote SaintsFan="SaintsFan"Oh well! At least we've made it to 11 CC semis on the bounce. That must be some kind of record.
C'mon you Saints!
We played outstanding rugby today. If Leon stays fit - and there was a moment today when he looked poorly - then we have a good chance of turning over the Pies in two weeks based on our performance today.'"
I was sat right infront of Leon when he was hunched down and it looked to be his hip but he looked to have run it off.
Was shenton injured? He went off and seemed to be holding his arm in a way as you would if hurt his shoulder.

| Game at HJ. and tickets apportioned as per average attendances.
6,449 at Widnes today and I understand from a Saints supporting friend that something like 2K were from HKR.
So for the HJ, 9K to Wigan and 4K to Saints, that seems reasonable to me.

IMO it would be silly to play it at HJ stadium as it's to small. All the stay aways come cralling out the woodwork on semi and final day.
The saints attendences this year have been poor but it's under difficult circumstance of playing at Widnes for our home games.
I think saints will take 8,000 to the semi and maybe more with it bring Wigan.

Pete I'm a logical person, I had to be in the job I did.
Give me a logical reason why Saints should get the same number of tickets for this game as Wigan.
Only about 4K could be bothered travelling six miles today (and I'm being generous with the six miles).
Which venue would you use?

I'm not saying saints deserve more, I'm saying the rfl would be silly on possibly losing revenue by playing at a stadium that's to small.
All saints fans will agree, our crowds have been very poor this year due to one thing or another but I honesty think it should be played at Huddersfield.

| There was never a 1:2 ration of fans today, 1:3 is more reasonable.
It was a poor attendance, but there was certainly more than 4k Saints fans. The East stand was full and the South stand had plenty in too. Hull KR left about 4 blocks worth completely untouched in the West. Still a good following by them though and they were noisy.

If they won't travel to Widnes then I don't think they'll travel to Huddersfield.
Preston could be a reasonable alternative or Bolton.

| In 2009 when both clubs were in the semi the HJ was scheduled for Wigan v Saints if the draw panned out that way.
As it happened Wigan drew Wire and Saints drew Huddersfield.
Trust me, that is correct and came from a high ranking person in the Wigan commercial operation.
