It's a shame but all good things come to a end.
I'm bit shocked that saints ain't prepared for this by giving eastmond more game time.
From what I gather wheeler is higher up pecking order than eastmond.
We will be taking huge huge risk by taking a gamble on either wheeler or eastmond.
Maybe we got a scrum half lined up for when the 2 kids are ready

Spot on - I'm glad the club have made him or will be making him some kind of offer but we would be insane to offer him anything more than a 1 year contract with an option of a further year if the CLUB want him. That way if by some miracle he is still playing at a high level and our young player fall flat on their faces we still have an option. |

If long does go who will be our scrum half next year?
Will we try and sign someone?
Play wheeler there?
Or eastmond?
If long does go I think he will sign a 1 year deal I think wheeler would be Potters 1st choice with gidley looking to b staying.

I don't see Wheeler as a scrum half, so I'd guess at Eastmond or Matty Smith.
