I'm a big believer in the fact that sometimes in rugby, you need a man and not a boy, but Dawson doesn't offer an awful lot. Nothing against him. he doesn't shirk the load and is never short on commitment, but sometime he looks a bit lost to say the least.

I've not really go high hopes of those 3 you mentioned from the three you have named. Imo the isn't much really in the u19s that could possibly break thru next year.

Grace and Wellington are another season off IMHO. Id say Olly Davies is also another year off. Maybe Morgan Knowles could break thru next year but the Backrow is pretty full at saints at the min.

I don't know what's happened to Leeds, beaten 72 - 6 by Hull last week and then 40 - 0 by Saints, they have no chance of making the play offs.

The U19s at the moment are a write off. The only decent players are either injured or on loan, or in the first team, and it seems the rest have put the cue on the rack for the rest of the season. Ryan Jones is the only player from the current crop who'll be an SL player, and I think he's first year.

The next year or should see a return to the top, as the current U16s move up. Cam Smith, Harvey Whitley, Jack Walker, and Tom Hall inparticula look special. Cam Smith, has already been given a place in 2016s first team squad apparently.

Unless he is destined for the pack with Jones and Flanagan (hopefully) going ?

He's big and mobile , rotation and cover for Vea and Greenwood.

Given the youngsters emerging and the like of McDonnell ,plus talk of signing
a another back , that can be the only rationale for 2 more years.
