| Why is Brown even playing him at prop? He's spent almost his entire career as a very effective backrower.

| I wonder if you'll all be happy offloading these experienced players when we get the new signings who have previously been mentioned on here.

| I thought this was happening as Rush hints at it on Saints website by saying even thou were up for the quota, we will get shut of people if better players become available. He says stand off is priority and if a world beater becomes available we will go for him, also says we will go for another prop with any left over money.

Because he can't play Backrow now. We signed him to play prop as Graham's replacement and we've basically killed him as he was to small. He's took some hammer and put a little beef on which means he's never going to play Backrow again.
The laffranchi disaster is all down to super Royce, as is the Hohaia disaster.

He played prop in a NRL grand final, apparently.

We've signed a experienced NRL halfback and prop. We've also got the likes of Roby, sia, Wilkin, wello, Manu, gardner who are very experienced players.
Also, we've got lomax, clough, makinson, wheeler (I think) that have played in grand finals.
It's not like we won't have experience.
I'm more than happy with a clear out and IMO its come to late.

| I think Hohaia gets a bot of unfair stick on here, he's not been a great signing but I'm not sure it's all his fault. He was kept at SO for too long last year and has been shipped from pillar to post positionally.
I think he's still a better bet at 9 than Howarth.

I 100% he gets unfair stick. It's not his fault he can't play in the halves. He's a out and out fullback and asked him to play as our main halfback.
IMO he's still a good fullback and good luck to him if he goes. He's a smashing fella and his poor form has got him down. He's not come here for a pay day, it's just not worked out due to playing out of position.

| Hohaia never stood any chance when Nathan Brown took over and the loan spell of Howarth was proof of this.

| If true, that's a quota spot and I imagine a huge amount off the cap. Hopefully it will be put to good use.

We're paying Salford 250 grand to take him off our hands. Money extraordinarily well spent.

| Someone on the Salford board is worried that they've given us salary cap space when we are planning a move for Chase - someone they are after.
Imagine...

18821_1298880800.jpg
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".
Therefore ZERO.
It was Hohaia that said he was a half and has come over to play In the halves.
We got suckered,no sympathy from me.
