Only time will tell. I think he'll get back playing and play well. It might take 4/6 weeks but I can't see why he can't back to full fitness.

Yep. Although I must confess to feeling somewhat lacking in the hope department when it comes to Leon Pryce and his fitness!

It happens but I bet your life they have been very careful with his recovery this time. The injury ain't career ending.

I was told that a groin injury can be career ending because it can remain a problem and the surgery available doesn't always fix it.

Part of the problem for me is that although I would love to see Pryce fit and firing on the pitch for us, if he's cleared to play, when should he start? He'll be really match rusty as he won't have played for a year. We're about to enter a seriously tough month. Sure, we could do with his experience and skill, etc, but we won't get that until the month is overwith as he will be finding his match fitness again in that time. Would it cost us to have him adjust during June?

Perhaps so, I know I've only got a short attention span, but TBH I won't actually miss him as we have got used to playing without him. I'd rather we use his salary to recruit a good prop to replace Jammer.

I think Wheeler - if he can rid himself of biscuit like tendancies - can turn out to be at least as good as Leon and about £50K p.a. cheaper for the time being.

He's timed that well. Get our toughest month overwith and then come back!

What injury did he get then? Must have been a major one to be out for so long. At the time it was billed as a groin strain. I'm sure I've asked this question recently, but can't remember.
