Have to slightly disagree with this. Last season the only different card Anderson had in the backs was Talau. Not the fastest centre you will see, so we're not really any slower in that respect and imho Wheeler has probably been our stand out back (Gidley apart) this season.

If you look, the last ten games of the season provided 4 wins (one of which was the struggle against Huddersfield reserves). The other three were against Warrington, Quins and Wigan - none of which have exactly set Super League alight this season.

Whilst I'm not shouting for Harry's head, it seems that we have a false position in the table when compared to the tactics he uses. How much of this position is down to the team continuing to play Anderson's way for the first part of the season until Harry's tactics took over I don't know.

It also concerned me in one of the League magazines recently, they did a piece on the youngsters coming through at Saints and Leeds, and Sir Eamon was quoted as saying that one of the main reasons he brought Harry to Saints was due to the fact that he was the youth coach for NSW and knew how to bring on the young players. Nothing wrong with that, but surely the success of the team and how Harry could continue that must have also played a part in the interview process? Maybe Harry bored Eamon to sleep during the interview!!

We pride ourselves for being known as the Entertainers, but alas, for as long as Harry is in charge, we cannot use that mantle and have become a "boring 5 hits up the middle followed by a crap kick" team, and will continue to do so as that is the way Harry has played it at all of his clubs.

We've obviously played better than everybody else, apart from Leeds, this season to finish 2nd.

We might have won more than most teams but it don't mean we've played better than the other 12.

But the season did finish tonight, and we are 2nd in the league and we did reach the Challenge Cup semi-final, therefore we must have something about us, otherwise there is no way we have finished were we have. You can be as negative as you want, but the simple fact is, you don't finish 2nd in the league if we are as bad you make out we are. You don't fluke it, over 27 games.

Agreed, but you do finish 2nd in the league if you use the first half of the season to get most of your wins using a method of tatics inherited from the previous coach. You then start employing your own tactics with very limited success for the second half of the season and manage to hang onto second place.

Flipping heck this thread is enough to make you want to slit your wrists, heaven help some of our fans when we have a really poor season!

I know, is it me or are you still second? Try swapping place with us for a season, then you can have something to moan about.

We were expecting such a season: next year though, not this.

I wouldn't read to much into last nights game, early on we tried to play fancy stuff but the passes didn't stick. On another day they may have done.

I think we were trying to get a big score in case there was any chance of Leeds slipping up.

Once the players realised that Catalan weren't going to roll over they knew it was a pointless game.

It's a clean slate next week, everyone fit, we just need to win two home wins to get to the grand final and then see what happens on the day.
