Not in my book. How many coaches - including Wayne Bennett - have tried and failed to sort out Eden's game?

And we've already got about 15 fullbacks...

He's been playing wing for broncos but he will replace Dorn at fullback.

Wouldn't be bad winger for us as he beats men and can score from anywhere but makes silly mistakes.

I watched him play for the Broncos a few times, half-expecting howlers, but truth to tell, he did OK (looked much more settled than Joe Burgess at the Roosters, frankly). So it may be less a case of "...how many coaches - including Wayne Bennett - have tried and failed to sort out Eden's game" than simply that Bennett doesn't really need him at Brisbane.

All that said, I wouldn't want him myself.

Martin Ridyard linked on RedVee. Not sure if he falls into the bracket of 'Quality Signings' though.

I like him, but would have preferred Brierley who's obviously at Huddersfield now. It can take a while to make that transition to Super League from the championship, and at 30, how much could we get out of him?

I think the suggestion on Redvee was that it would only be a loan until the end of the season, which would be fine with me - an experienced playmaker who can guide a team round the park wouldn't do us any harm under current circumstances.

Totally agree with that. Would be surprised if Leigh let him go though.

Yeah but I thought Travis couldn't get in our side because he had too much to say to his boss not because he wasn't good enough.

As Twentyman says, Burns's departure has nothing to do with his ability, so it's not really a worthwhile comparison. There's a discussion to be had about how we got into this position, but let's look at our current situation pragmatically: after various injuries (Walsh, Fages, Richardson, Lomax?) and disagreements (Burns) we're likely to be stuck with a half-back partnership of Wilkin/Turner for the coming weeks. Anything that can save us from being subjected to that has to be considered, IMO. I'd be happy to bring in a smart, organising half back for the last 10-15 games of the season, and Ridyard fits that bill. If it was any more long term than that, though, it would be an alarming signing.
